.. ..In 1992 Sir Leatherface (aka Mr. Chainsaw),< *Name change after a member of a familiar group of 4 members from Ohio ganked our style soon after Bruce,Randy, & TiTaN became Deuce 11 Gz 'n 1994* Dr. Jekyl*J-RoCK*, T-bone, Tha Lunatic, and Lucifa' Tha Mic Rocka were the Cykoz reppin tha northside of Flint, Michigan.Swift-D, who's featured on the track "Mind of A Cyko", found on their soundclick page (2 different pages; one spelled kinghoodcykoz & the other kinghoodcykos.CHECK THEM BOTH OUT!) is greatly missed & we loved him.A very talented young brotha,he waz also a part of Flint Fharmacy's album, "Goodie" & appeared on several flint artist's albums aside from his own projects.Hiz deepezt trax which the whereabouts are unfamiliar & hopefully not lost by anyone, even I used to have them, were "Mr. 12 Guage" and "Amerikkka". The name King 'hood came from Martin Luther King St. az the most taken route entering the North-end of Flint. Their music was the grim reality of their life in Flint, Michigan worse / az bad az ghetto's all over the world. As the 90's pushed on, the Cykoz perfected their gangsta/horrorcore sound.They performed @ Capitol Theater in downtown Flint with REVELATIONZ family members VARIETY OF SINZ & auditioned for the Eric B contest @ Windmill Place.The producer of the video "Passing Me By" by Tha Pharcyde offered a possible video idea for "Visionz of Insanity"*which waz recorded right after the funeral of a high-school friend who's life tragically ended in a carwreck* with then engineer, DJ Clay of Boomin Records who also admitted "they're way ahead of their time". The last time the Kinghood Cykoz recorded anything was 1997. Until now, Kinghood hasn't been heard from much.There may / may not be a re-union album however it's for sure that Lunatic haz left the group for good.Lucifa is still making music with other producers & still keeps in touch with T.i.T.a.N. Lucifa should be having his very own myspace page up shortly.T.i.T.a.N. is makin music both solo & with various artists.His latest appearance is on "In the Company of Killers" Hyde 6 mixtape for PREVIEW & sale @ www.cdbaby.com/cd/neg13prod Leathaface, Jekyl & Lucifa still reside in Flint.Only time will reveal what ever becomes in the future for tha Kinghood Cykoz.To those of you who've supported us over the years or just being introduced to our music, thankyou.
