John O'Connor

John teaches Midi technology and Recording at Whitireia Polytechnic on both the Certificate course and the Degree Programme. He is also involved in his own band. Some of the people John has played with in his music career are:Jimmy Rogers, Spencer Davis, Bo Diddly, Roger Fox, Colin Hemmingson, BB King, Chuck Berry, Dalvanius, Midge Marsden, Beaver, Mark Williams, Annie Whittle, Patsy Riggar, Jodi Vaughn, Brendan Dougan, Jacqui Fitzgerald, Peter Jackson, Gaylene Preston, Ron Goodwin, Kiri Te Kanawa, Sharon O’Neil, Renee Gayer.John is involved in all aspects of recording and mixing and teaches the use of “Protools” and “Logic” at Whitireia Community Polytechnic, along with teaching guitar.
