The Waggon Open Mic

About Me

The Waggon Open Mic, having been run by Lee Davids and James Henton beforehand, was run firstly on an occasional basis by me from spring 2007, and after a rollercoaster ride over the last couple of years - several ups and downs but always good musically! - the reins are now being passed to Bob Newell to run it each week.
It's been fun, but it's time for me to move on to other new events.
The new night should be fun too, many of the old - and newer faces - will no doubt remain and I'll pop along from time to time too.
Thanks to everyone who's made the night great musically and great fun over the last couple of years.
Jeremy, 4th June 09.

As well as the Waggon Open Mic, I have been running the Stag Open Mic - on the first Monday of the month for a while now, in Burnham Beeches.
I have also just started the O'Donoghues Open Mic in Marlow, every other Thursday, and I am looking at other events.
I am considering whether to leave this page as is, as a testimonial to the event that got me started running these things, or to convert it into a page for all my Open Mic events (the others I have in planning will start soon, as one-off or monthly events)...
In the meantime, please check out my local gig and music event guide - Maidenhead-Windsor-Wycombe gig info in the top friend of this page.
