I got my start by acting in 1994.After that i finally got my break when i got signed to payday records with my brother DCQ and realeased our debut album.In 1998 I got signed to Rawkus Records and with my homie Talib Kweli We Realeased Black Star.Next year after that i finally realeased my solo album Black On Both Sides. a couple of years later rawkus records finnaly collasped and interscope and Geffen signed me to thier label.After that i started acting in some movies like Brown Sugar,and monstars ball. And maybe some of yall saw me on the chappelles show.now i am currently recording some tracks and relaxing.Black is Beautiful my brothers and sisters no one can bring us back......
