Rafael Cavero - Tenor

Rafael Cavero (Tenor)original from Lima-Peru, the Tenor Rafael Cavero started his studies of vocal technique in his native land. In 2000, he won a full scholarship for the “Schwob School of Music” at Columbus State University (USA) given by the “Woodruff Foundation”. In 2003 he decided to travel to Milan-Italy to study with the professor Vittorio Terrenova, and one and a half year later, he traveled to Munich-Germany for improving his vocal technique with the professor Saverio Suárez-Ribaudo.In August 2005 he traveled to Lima-Peru for his debut in the Zarzuela “El duo de la Africana” under the role of Giussepini. 2006 was an important year for him making his debut in the Opera “Don Carlos” interpreting the roles of Conde di Lerma and Heraldo in Gut Immling Opera Festival in Germany. Also, in August he did his debut in Dachau in the Opera “Don Giovanni” of Mozart performing the role of Don Ottavio.During his entire career, Rafael Cavero has performed different concerts in Peru, USA, Italy, Austria and Germany. Currently, he has received proposals to perform the roles of Pinkerton in the Opera “Madame Butterfly” and Alfredo from “La Traviata”. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------
