About Me

It could'a been back in 1953 -- in the year Django Reinhardt died, Dick Dale listened to his uncle's Lebanese-Arabesque folk songs, soon paving the way to a guitar drenched Misirlou kicking off SURF MUSIC and influencing a young Jimi Hendrix, whose Band of Gypsies, in turn, blew back a nod to our hero D.R. Play on Brothers. An All-American Salute to the Music of Django Reinhardt.
