Ok so, this section has pretty much been blank for a while but, here's a bit of info. on us. The band was created on May 8, 2007 and our myspace wasn't created until May 15, 2007. Our first song was first titled 'Sweet Dreams', then 'Venom Kisses', and later we decided to leave it as a non-vocal 'Intro.' to what is to come. Later came our dance/rock song titled 'Sweet Dreams' which was inspired by Benny Bennasi's 'Who's Your Daddy?' Our first real rock song didn't come to be until a few weeks later, we titled it 'The Frog Song' and with it came 4 more non-vocal rock demos. Again, it wasn't until weeks later that our first REAL song was made, it was first created by Ezra for his own personal use but, later Audrey heard it and both agreed to add vocals and make it the bands first official song release. The band went through many name changes at this time, from Sweet Dreams, to Headless Dolls, Deranged Driven, Killer Kidds With Gunns, and Kill The Vanity. At the end of the 07' year, a new member was added, an amazing pianist and close friend, Jenny. By now we decided getting serious about our music, at first this was just an experiment, a hobby to show what love doing. So the band discarded the demos and 'Frog Song along with the 'Intro' and changed the 'Sweet Dreams' song to our 'Intro.' Later, their second song was released a non-rock non-electro piano song composed by Ezra and lyrics written by Audrey. At this time the band went through yet another name change from Kill The Vanity to The Mistakes. So what's in store for you guys? Hopefully an album or EP release either this year or in 2009, a new merch store, and a new website! So, keep checking back to our blogs section for more updates and enws about the band!
