In 1981 I started buying and collecting records. My first record was Patrick Cowley-Menergy. In 1984 I discovered that most records I bought were made and produced in Italy. From that time on I started collecting the "Italian Sound". Nowadays I have more than 8000 Italo records in my collection, starting from 1978 till now. The sound of the Italian productions is so special and recognizable. The sound changed during the years, just as the dance music changed, but you can still hear that special italianstyle spark. I grew with the sound so I have a lot of early 78-84 stuff, the commercial period from 85-90, the high energy stuff from 90-now, the 93-2000 commercial dance stuff and the newest stuff from 2000-today. Still collecting everything...
In the late 80..s I teamed up with i Venti d..Azzurro and being part of this great team we did some great job promoting the Italian Sound around the globe (www.iventi.net). I also wrote and produced some tracks like 2-get-her with Japansese girl and Bruno Mosti - Zero Gravity Extended version on our own i Venti record label (see www.ivent-records.com). But mixing and DJ-ing (every sunday night at www.fresh.fm) is also one of the fun things I like to do.
I made this MySpace Italo Disco - I Venti D'Azzurro Player at MyFlashFetish .com.
