About Me

Hi, I'm Ben. I'm a saxophone/woodwind player living in Minneapolis. I just moved here from Wisconsin where I went to school at Lawrence University. While at Lawrence I was a member of the Downbeat award winning Jazz ensemble and had the opportunity to perform with many amazing artists such as Maria Schneider, Kurt Elling, Benny Golson, Wycliffe Gordon, Eliane Elias and Tim Hagans. During my junior year I took a semester off to go on tour with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. It was a really fun experience and I got to travel all of America and spend five weeks performing all over Japan.

You can currently see me play with Good For Gary at various venues through out the cities. Just check my schedule above to see where we'll be next. I've also been subbing with the Stan Bann Big band and will be playing with them again in the fall.
