We at the time, were both working with different bands and were not happy with our sound or musical progress. One Saturday night standing at the bar drinking a cold one together, the last night I was to play at that particular club with that band, "we" at that time desided to build our own thing and create our own sound, without having to settle for less in sound quality and showmanship, than we wanted. We had determined after a brief talk, there really is no limit, to what a man can do if he sets his mind too, and on it. Then and there "No Limit" was born. Currently one of the most saught after, working bands in our area as for live night club entertainment. Covering country, rock, alternative, funk, oldies, newbies, and even zydeco. "No Limit" is currently working on several, soon to be released original tunes. Visit our site regularly for dates, location, and showtimes near you and come see what we do. If we don't already cover your favorite song, it is only because you have'nt requested it yet! ____________________________________________________________ ______ ____________________________________________________________ ______ ____________________________________________________________ ______ ____________________________________________________________ ______ ************************************************************ *******

____________________________________________________________ ______ "No Limit" THE MEMBERS: ____________________________________________________________ ______David Sumbodey: Vocals / Drums / Writer / Productions Mgr.Born in Port Arthur, Texas - March of 55 - Cajun Blooded...I am a life long musician, currently 55. Being self taught, Man/ Artist/Human/Drummer/Singer/Song Writer...I have traveled the states performing most of my life with small taters acts as well as numerous big'uns, enjoying my music while trying to earn a buck or three, ie. Food, Bills, Beer, Bla Bla Bla. I have played for crowds as small as 3 and I have played for 30,000 plus! Currently I play with a local club act that my dear friend and lead singer, Darius LaCombe, known as (Big D) and I formed called, "NO LIMIT". In our sixth year together, we play pretty much all the clubs and dance halls locally. The band strives for the best in versitility in club entertainment. Though we are older and may NOT, be the next Boot and Big Belt Buckle wearing country stars, we still love the grind of working well together to create a clean sound that people respond well to. We are working on a few original songs, and being a band consisting of "Older Gents", we are taking our time to get them just as we need them to be, before going public with them. Soon to be released once completed.__________________________________________________ ________________Darius LaCombe: Lead Vocals / Guitars / Accordian / WriterDarius, also a native Texan, born in Galveston, January of 63, currently 44 , raised in Vidor Tx. Darius loves sharing his vocal and guitar talents with as many as he can and never seems to meet a stranger, anywhere at anytime. Darius also won the "2003 Colgate Country Music Show", locally with his unique musical abilities, taking him to the Texas State Finals. Darius is currently the lead singer, guitar player and one of the song writers for "No Limit". Darius is also a strong christian, family man, and the proud parent of three wonderfull children who are a real joy to encounter. Soon we will be releasing his new single, "The Art Of Drinking" which will be uploaded here when completed for you all to enjoy.______________________________________________________ ____________Kevin Carlberg: Bass GuitarsKevin, a native of Lake Charles Louisiana, however Kevin did reside in Bridge City Texas several years back were he became acquainted with David Sumbodey, playing bass with him in another band and came to enjoy this type night club entertainment. He was born in Lake Charles, December 8th of 1964. In his younger days almost right after High School he enlisted in the U.S. Military, stationed in San Diego were he served a full three year term in the Marine Corp. He started playing around with cheap guitars and drum sets in his high school days back in the early 80's. He got his first bass guitar around 1982 and settled on that as to be his instrument of choice. He joined his first working band while in the Marines around '85. He was fortunate enough to be able to be playing with groups throughout his life that opened for a few named acts such as: Wayne Toups, Willie Nelson, Doug Stone, Shelby Lynn, Sammy Kershaw, Survivor and Joel Sonnier. He graduated high school from St. Louis High School in Lake Charles. He was offered a Musical Scholarship from McNeese State University in Lake Charles Louisiana and attended briefly, and a short time later he dropped out to join the the Marine Corp.Kevin is now 45 years of age and currently proudly, and happily married, as well as the father of a wonderfully beautiful little girl, whom he cherishes.Kevin's main musical influences were most all of the rock bands from the 60's through the 80's as he was growing up. He grew up learning to play tunes such "House of the Rising Sun" and lead on of course to much harder endeavors such as learning and playing anything by Rush. A very successful Canadian Rock Band. The Lead Singer / Bass player "Geddy Lee", of "Rush" was and still is one bad ass Bass player to Kevin and has always been one of his many childhood musical idols. He would also have to throw in Van Halen and Fleetwood Mac as well, into his list of childhood musical influences.Kevin seems very happy and proud to be the newest active member, playing bass with David,Darius, and Adrian in "No Limit" and absolutely believes more is not always better.Sometimes the most simple things in life can be the most rewarding. ____________________________________________________________ ______
Influences: ...I guess we all had our idles as we grew up but we all pretty much agree with the general public cause we can take the worst music out there available and enjoy learning and playing it if it puts people in a party, dancing frame of mind when they hear us play it... As for famous people that influenced our sound? Pink Floyd, ToTo, Bad Company, Puddle of Mud, Nickelback, Creed, Seven Dust, Staind, Rush, Kid Rock, Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, and a few new groups I just discovered through MySpace, Seventy Five Summers and Boyce Avenue! I think ALL these bands and players kick some MAJOR ASS, and I am an old dude, But I still rock !!! As for my own career? I never really wanted fame or fortune. I just wanted to play and enjoy the gifts I was given by God while meeting as many good people as I could along the way. Its been a real up and down life. Filled with highs and lows. David Sumbody
