About Me

HI!! My name is Ashley and my passion in life is serving others. I am a recent graduate of Long Beach State where I earned my degree in Psychology. I studied Psych not so I could analyze everything you say to me, but to analyze WHY you've said it. Naturally, I love the challenge of figuring out people. Everyone believes they are different and unique....and an enigma. Truth is, everyone wants to be figured out. Maybe not by me, but by someone.Anyways, I lived an exciting four years, but now I have turned it down a knotch and have moved back to Valencia with the parental unit. What can i say? I'm a typical, poor college graduate!!.......I am a former Miss Greater Long Beach 2005 and Miss High Desert 2006. I have competed at the Miss California pageant twice along side of some of the most remarkable women across the state. (I show them off in the slide show below)......I enjoy having a blast with my friends....whether it be a club, a party, a kick back, or girls night!!! I live to laugh....it keeps me young. The thing I am most passionate about in life is worshiping God. Music is a gift, a blessing, and is my life.

Music:

Anything that gets me dancing!!! YEAH!!! This is my jam!!!! I'm a super huge fan of GOOD OL COUNTRY!!! Gotta love: Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Big'n'Rich, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Lonestar, Sugarland, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Terri Clark, Josh Gracin, and KEITH URBAN!! I also like normal music though....like pop....anything I can sing to pretty much!

Movies:

I'm a real sucker for movies, really. I enjoy them all.

Television:

Law and Order, The Closer, CSI, American Idol, So you think you can dance, Friends, Will & Grace, VH1 countdown shows (those commentators are hilarious!) and nothing on MTV. When one of these isn't on, I prefer CNN. No, Seriously.

Books:

I love Jodi Piccoult! I love to be held in suspense...I also like deep characters and an interesting story-telling point of view. I also like it when authors teach me new words! Hahaa! Basically I love novels written by Jodi Piccoult.

Heroes:

My Grandparents who are the most generous people in the whole world.
