The Voice Of Vince Podcast

About Me

The Voice of Vince Podcast is created weekly and hosted by none other than the bass swinging Conservative political monster, Vince DiMaggio of URN/Greaterthanhatred and now playing with Bushyhead. The VOV is intended to reach out into the openminded American public concious and to shed light on the destructive path of the Liberal Media.

Band Members: And here he is...the 4-String Pimp with more game than Jordan...Mr. One Take when it comes to recording...Even on a bad day never comes off as boring...If ya get lucky, he'll hit your town while touring...Say what ya want, but there's still no ignoring the uppercut that hit you just now without warning...The Host of The Voice of Vince Podcast, Vince aka Daddy DiMaggio.

Vince DiMaggio has been playing the bass guitar live for the last 18 years. A true Bay Area metal veteran, Vince has written and performed with scene staples such as URN, Chronic Narcosis and Greaterthanhatred. He is recently taken to writing and performing as a solo artist for the project Bushyhead. Click on the photo below to check out Bushyhead and some of the new Bushyhead songs!

As the bassist, Vince views his job in bands as one of the lead instruments being that there is usually only a guitarist and drummer and besides the singer, in most cases, it was Vince himself handling vocals and bass duties.

In concert, Vince enjoys solo spots where he does that voodoo he does so well; Vince brings the groove and sometimes a high-energy distorted solo, giving nods to the likes of Cliff Burton, Gene Simmons and J.S. Bach.

Vince's right hand techinique is his own. He plays with his three middle fingers and has had his hand clocked at playing 684 notes per minute. But who really wants to play that fast?!? He regularly practice from 15 to 20 hours per week and has performed live over 900+ times as a bassist, vocalist and sometimes both. Vince records several nights a week in his elaborate "Bassland" Studios as a way to write and for the last 8 months, record weekly podcasts. However, he is a bassist first...

A bassist with a drummer's ego. This recent cyber-outlet has given Vince's voice a much wider range, covering political subjects, sharing valuable gigging experience and also a format to give back to the music community that he so loves by giving time to unsigned artists such as Wagonburner, Jammin' Joe Buck, Lead Pipe Logic, Skitzo, Klank and many more. Vince's recent multi-talented musical efforts can be heard in every podcast as he wrote and performed "The Voice of Vince", his personal bumper music.

In closing, enjoy the V.O.V. 'Casts. If you have any comments, please feel free to throw them on the page and use the voice God has given you! Let others know about this site by putting The Voice of Vince in your Top Friends!
