I'm a people person; I love meeting new people. I just don't seem to have time for all of them! My good friends know that. =) I work, play soccer, ref soccer, love yoga, love karaoke, love to read, love to dance my ass off!!! and have my "quality time" with family and friends. "Jackie Time" is a necessity that usually involves relaxing or reading. Then I'm up and ready again! I'd like to spend more time at the beach and playing outdoors. I love adventures. Now that I've finished college (finally) I'm ready for the next one.
I really like meeting people... It pays to talk so strangers. =)
I love all kinds of music, though there are some I prefer over others. Anything I can dance to, or sing along with, really. If I have to pick a favorite artist, it's usually Tori Amos. Other faves: Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Snake River Conspiracy, Bjork, Ani DiFranco, Moulin Rouge soundtrack, Nora Jones, Alanis Morisette, Tegan & Sarah, and I love Karaoke! I don't listen to cd's much; but I love all types of music. I prefer to dance to dancehall, drum & bass, different types of electronica, house, 80's, and some hip hop and top 40- especially if its infused with salsa or reggae.
There are too many to list; so I'll go with my traditional fave: The Labyrinth.
I am so much more productive when I don't watch tv. There are a few shows I love, but I am never around to watch them.
Joyce Carol Oates - "Blonde", "A Million Little Pieces", "I Know This Much is True", "My Sister's Keeper", anything by Anne Rice, most of Anne McCaffrey's stuff, "The Poisonwood Bible", " Lord of the Rings Trilogy, "Being There", "The Color Purple", "Beloved", most of the Dune series, Harry Potter, "The DaVinci Code", Paulo Coelho I love to read my silly crime, FBI, murder, suspense, and supernatural thrillers too- usually Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham, Michael Crichton, Koontz, etc. There are too many others to name. Something everyone should read: "The Alchemist".
My Mom- for being an inspiration. My Dad- for showing me how to love life. And my big/little sis- because of her strength and strong sense of self.
