Cecelia is a native of Camden, Arkansas. She was born on October 6, 1966 to Marilyn Godbolt and the late Robert Godbolt. She began her singing ministry at the age of 5 years old, singing “I Come To the Garden Aloneâ€.
Cecelia has been privileged to minister at numerous concerts, church events, workshops, revivals, conferences and civic organizations. Special appearances are: guest soloist for the Irving Mass live recording, Gospel Play’s “Hallelujah Anyhow†and “Where is Your Faithâ€? Participant for the Darryl Yancy & Shekinah Video recording, participant of Tommye Young West live recording, 2002 two-time winner on “Showtime in Harlemâ€, New York, NY, 2002 participant on the Bobby Jones New Artist Showcase Taping in Las Vegas, NV, a 2003 soloist for the Civil Rights Movement Concert honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., guest soloist for the 2003 and 2004 Texas College Alumni Banquet, 2003 guest soloist for the Annual Minister’s Spouses Vesper Hour Service, 2004 guest soloist for the Annual Presidents Supper of the Women’s Missionary Council, 2005 background vocalist for the play “The Heavenly Bound Train†featuring Patti Labelle, 2005 participant for KHVN heaven 97 praise in the park, guest soloist for the 2006 Helping Angles Gala, guest soloist for the 2006 Medical Association Conference, Dallas TX., 2007 guest soloist for the Sister’s Summit, featuring Yolanda Adams, Dallas, TX., 2008 Gospel Explosion. Cecelia has opened up and shared the stage with Walter Hawkins, Doug & Melvin Williams of the William Brothers, Patti Labelle and many more. She is an anointed and gifted woman of God who posses the Spirit of God. Cecelia is destined to do a great work for the Kingdom of God. She is married to Dalton Domingue, Jr., and they enjoy working for the Lord together. They have recently formed their own record label “Creole Records†under which Cecelia recorded her first CD debut title "I WILL PRAISE YOU" the summer of 2007 and is receiving stellar reviews.
