Dominant Intelligence is a Lyrically inclined poetic Hip Hop Group based in Santa Cruz. The group consists of Homeboy Face and V-tech, Both skips handle production as well as almost every other aspect of making and sharing their music. We started making music around 2001, Our first non-houseparty show was 4/20/02 Cabrillo College In Aptos. Our first Demos hit the streets in january of 2002, Followed by the Release of "Partners in Rhyme" in early 2004, The album is available @ Streetlight Records and CDbaby.com/dominant. We have performed with most of the local groups like Serendipity Project, The Moonies, and Daily Chores. We both grew up in the Santa Cruz area, and started going to school together in the sixth grade. Our first album, "Partners In Rhyme" hit the stores and the streets in 2003. We are currently working on the second Dominant Intelligence album: Balance of Power, and it will be done early 2006. We hate this bullshit the radio and television shoves in our faces constantly. we are all about music that means someting not what the results of some survey indicate is what people want. Hip Hop is of the only things that keeps us going, if not for Hip Hop we would be lost like most other people.
