Toure Ferguson a. k. a. Isses was born and raised in St Andrew Jamaica, now 24 started doing music at age 16, inspired by a very good friend by the name of Jah V-G. The name Isses means Giving praises. He is a rhythm builder, producer, executive producer, songwriter and artist who has been influenced by the music of Bob Marley, Capleton and Sizzla. His aim is to stand firm with his team at Afracan Beat Productions record label.Isses attended Vaz Preparatory School and Wolmers High School. He was a champion athlete three years in a row while at prep school, and won the 400 meters at Boys Champ. He went to the Penn relays in Philadelphia, winning a gold medal and gold watch for the 4 by 1 relay and also represented Jamaica in the 4 by 1 relay at the World Youth Championship in Poland.Now he has transferred his athletic endurance to writing songs and making music. Isses explains, “I learned to build rhythms using a drum machine and keyboard after finishing school. I used to be a producer for Naciamaj Productions (Jamaican spelled backwards) and was part of a four member reggae dancehall group called Cushites. We recorded an album of songs but only one song, Talk It Out, was released, featuring Isses and Yateba of Cushites. That single will appear on a compilation album entitled Livity with Norris Man, Turbulence, Kulcha Knox, Moses I, and Half Pint and many more. I produced and built that rhythm for Naciamaj Productions.”“Currently I am working on a solo album of 14 tracks. In fact, five songs have been completed already. I am looking to feature known and upcoming artist on my album. Who I have in mind are Spragga Benz, Warrior King, Capleton, Calico and Busy Signal .There are 13 songs and one track sharing a vibe of myself through talking, like an interlude”He continues, “I released a song off my upcoming album entitle Faith. I did the music video for this single in Jamaica and it was directed by Raskassa one of Jamaican’s finest directors, he was the one who directed Well come to Jamrock by Junior Gong”.Isses has been doing a lot of promotion in the United States of America especially in South Florida promoting his single “Faith” produced by AfracanBeatProductions and other songs that has been produced by other producers in the Reggae Dancehall Industry.Isses is a very focus, conscious hardworking individual who has the discipline and the drive to make it big internationally, in the Field of Reggae Dancehall Music.With the teamwork of Olympic style running at play, Isses’ music from AfracanBeatProductions promises to be a champion in its field of reggae dancehall music.
