The Plump Tones started out as the Full Well Recording Studio house band. Over many years of recording, Producer/Engineer Mike Bolenbach had weeded through literally hundreds of musicians and chose the very best to be his band of "go to" guys for the studios various recording projects, affectionately called "THE PLUMP TONES."
Guitarist/vocalist Jimi Powers, Bass monster Jeff Leece, drummer/metrognome Phil Janzen, and producer/engineer/guitarist Mike Bolenbach had done over 100 records together before we decided to have a "real" band that did our own orignial music in addition to being a bunch of studio whores, doing a wide range of projects, from Hip-Hop to country western, metal to funk-olicious grooves....the Plump Tones can do it ALL!!
