A dark heroine, who's trying to move on from an incident in L.A but somehow gets caught up in the mind games of individuals around her with spine-chilling consequences that link her to the haunting incidents of her past

Natalie Stewart (the Floacist)

Natalie plays the lead role as Laila, a super - confident, sassy PR executive, who takes life by the horns and takes nonsense from no-one. Yet behind this tough exterior lurks a troubled soul and Laila is consistently tormented by the horrific incidents of her past.

Shola plays, Nichola. The flirty, attention seeking friend of Laila who believes in love and is constantly trying to get her friend to learn to settle down. In love with a no-good boyfriend, Sam, Nichola is an optimist providing a light hearted, comic relief in the film. Despite her sunny character, Nichola shares a dark secret with Laila and although desperate to move on from the past soon learns that the past has a way of catching up with you..
Nolan Weekes
Nolan Weekes made his mark with renowned poetry collective 3+1, shaking up the poetry circuit in the 90's. Since then he's performed all over Europe and featured on television and radio. He recently broke into the acting profession appearing in the Shakespeare adaptation, DA BOYZ and various films.
Nolan Weekes delivers an outstanding performance in the thrilling short Reasonable Excuse, playing the dark mysterious Hip Hop artist JB who's trying to broker a deal with the lead character Laila. However, his flirtatious and intimidating tactics may have sinister consequences.

Delivering a cold, snake-like performance, Tony Streeter captivates the screen twisting his words like a knife in a wound. Simply called ..The Boss.., he plays the lead role..s (Laila..s) boss in a creepy, gripping delivery.
Owner of a PR company, the ex public school boy made his money on the stock market Determined to prove something to his disapproving family he runs the company employing Laila as his main executive. Arrogant and menacing, he turns up to Laila's house to take her to an important business dinner but his controlling personality gets the better of him.
Kwaku Ankomah
RADA graduate, Kwaku..s on screen credits include, Ultimate force and Batman Begins.
In the much- anticipated short thriller, Reasonable Excuse, he plays a mysterious man who has developed an unhealthy obsession with Laila (the lead character). His obsession builds to a heart-stopping climax at the end of the film when his true intentions are revealed.
