My Interests

i like my guitars ... learning about japanese swords . i'm reading some books on that now. my old man used to collect 'em . i'm good with my hands. i can draw, sculpt, that kind of thing. and newcastle. that's a hobby of mine.

CHEAP TRICK!!!! paul westerberg, the replacements , Neil Young, Jimi, T REX, big star, the beatles, the stones, the pretenders, television, richard lloyd, stone roses, guided by voices, sonic youth, ....my wanna be guitar hero side loves : paul kossoff , clapton (with john mayall and cream ),joe f'n walsh , mr. jeff beck, rev. billy f. gibbons ,slash ,mick ralphs . then , i love : buddy holly, ritchie valens, frank carillo and the bandeleros, steel rodeo.........and more. basically organic sounding music that sounds like it was TOUCHED BY HUMAN HANDS. and takes up no more than three and a half minutes of my time. i have a short attention span .

Movies:

yojimbo, sanjuro, seven samurai, toshiro mifune, all kurosawa movies really,zatoichi (all of them) , the big lebowski, fulltime killer, fight club, the zillions of kung fu movies i've seen, lock,stock, and two smoking barrells, snatch was good too, ecape from alcatrazz, heartbreak ridge (wars been declared)

Television:

whenever the detroit pistons play , THE SHEILD (he's a different kind of cop!!!!!!!!!) samurai saturdays on IFC , Ali G (god bless that man) maximum exposure. thats it , really. How I miss the State.

Books:

My favorite book is: do magazines count as books? Musashi, fight club, I just started choke, started Porno by welsch, The Ronin (kicked ass), i like any biographical rock n roll books, like about hendrix or the beatles or the stones. I have this one book about hendrix which has this entry from a girlfriend of his. she confirms that he was, indeed , a total beast in the sack. i gotta be honest . i really can't sit still long enough to read a whole damn book.

Heroes:

Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick ...My Dad - He just gets up and goes to work everyday, goes to the same job he's had for over 40 yrs and does what he has to do. sounds easy, but.....
