Proud mother of 3 grown daughters and stepmum to another lovely daughter and son by my late husband, and a life-long natural healer.I am also a jewellery designer, and partner of the managing Director of our business, selling Native American and indigenous native jewellery, crafts and artefacts as well as designing and making our own range of jewellery. We love going to music festivals and biker rallies, the atmosphere is great and we seem to spend as much time healing as selling sometimes!!
Seems like people at the some of the music festivals seek us out - like attracts like they say. Other healers come to us for healing and seem to know when we need it too, good job as I have a few health problems of my own that other healers can deal with! On my worst days I can sit in my (cunningly disguised) wheelchair and enjoy watching everyone around me - there is always someone at rallies and festivals to lend a hand when needed!I've been a healer since I was a small child - even animals would come to me for help, much to my mother's consternation - she was sure I would be bitten by something sooner or later. She is also a healer as were her parents, so she should have known better! I have spent my life helping others from all walks of life, but I do not believe in taking payment for healing - if you are given a gift, do you sell that gift for your own ends?Healing also extended to my working life, as I was nursing until an accident at work put paid to my back, so I became a bereavement counsellor after my beloved hubby Gordon died suddenly aged only 59. We had worked together for years as healers and grief counsellors, so it seemed natural to carry on doing it and I truly believe that he still works with me when healing to this day. I was also doing online counselling and that is how I met and became friends with my new husband - we were friends for quite a while until we realised that our feelings had gone beyond simple friendship and turned to lurve! We married after being together for 2 years- stepmum to another son and daughter! - formed our business, (a drawing done by Gordon was the inspiration for the company name and became our company logo) and we are now trying to get launched internationally. Our website has just gone live but is taking a while to get off the ground, but I will still be going to the festivals and biker rallies - I'm an old hippy and love going to the gatherings! I also love to gather children around me and teach them beading while telling them ancient stories passed on to me by Native American friends - and have been asked to act as a Storyteller at some of the festivals too.
