Jesus Christ and His mother Mary. Jesus because He is my Savior and His mother for having the faith to accept God's will for her life and endure the sight of her child hanging nailed to the cross, pierced and beaten beyond recognition.
I like lots of different music but I listen mostly to christian and country (especially classic country) The only things I don't really like are Opera and hard core rap. I like the "Old School Rap" from back in the day in "the Berry".
Something WITHOUT a lot of violence, profanity, or horror. Doesn't leave much left to see these days!
Ugly Betty, Gray's Anatomy, Storm Stories on Weather Channel and of course, Animal Planet. Usually the only time I watch much TV is on Saturday when I catch a good Lifetime movie.
The Bible or books and studies based on the Bible. Right now I'm reading a Beth Moore study called "To Live is Christ" about the life of Paul. Lots of Hebrew history in it which I find interesting. I'm really not much of a novel reader, but I did just see the movie about Jane Austen so I think I'll give one of her novels or writings a try.
My son who was a Marine and fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. He risked his life for people he didn't know (both there and here in the states) and many didn't even appreciate that he was there for them. He is so brave and strong! We live in the Land of the Free Because of the Brave! Thank the Lord for people like him.
