About Me

..First sang "Little Donkey" at primary school, with wonky bunches in 1970something, then sang "San Francisco" at senior school, with wonky glasses in 1980something. I baked thousands of cakes, became office skivvy, then sang "Matchmaker" and "Far from the home I love" at a local operatic society, with wonky floor boards in 1990something.
I sold adverts, waited tables, more office skivvying, studied acting (City Lit), studied musical theatre (Arts Ed), studied dance (very briefly before realizing that croissants with friends was better than bitchy queens and pink tights, although the talk of tightening vaginas was always amusing). On Stage I played a; hussy, mistress, and lesbian (hang on there's a general theme here????). More office work, more waiting tables and general floating about.
Jazz
I love songs, all the old songs with good lyrics and good tunes. A few people had suggested that jazz would suit me, so I gave it a go and loved it. I loved the intimacy and the subtlety of jazz. I have had lessons with: Howard Milner and Anita Wardell, attended courses held by; Ian Shaw, Lianne Carole, Clare Foster, Sue Richardson, Pete Churchill, Lee Gibson, Norma Winston and Anita Wardell.
Gigs
I have gigged in London, Leicester, Wales, Gloucestershire and France. MyGen Profile Generator
