So I decided to finally rewrite my "About Me" portion of this profile after having it the same for about a year. Same shit, just presented a different way ;-)
BASICS: My name is Stella. I am 30 years old, will be 31 in December. I am an orthopaedic surgeon who happens to be a resident in a NYC hospital, but am also involved with a higher calling as a field grade officer in the US Marine Corps since I was in college way back when starting in 1996. I am 6' barefoot, and I love to wear heels :-P I have dark brown hair with lots of blonde highlights (The length can vary - it's probably the longest now than it has been in a long time).
PERSONALITY: I am very competitive, almost to a fault. I always want to be the best at whatever I do. I am also very outspoken, and I have an opinion on everything. I am NOT one of those people, however, that will wag it in your face and say that everyone who disagrees with me is wrong. I am a very understanding and open-minded person. There is really nothing you can tell me that would shock me or would get me rattled. If I haven't been through it, I have seen it all. I am also a perfectionist, but I only expect that out of myself. I have a lot of philosophies on life and people, perhaps if you feel like listening to me blab on for a while you could ask me about them. I am chronically independent and I live my life the way I choose - you only get one chance, so why waste it? I am very much a nerd also, and as my good friend Mike once said to me, "You know way too much for your own good." :-D
EDUCATION: Well obviously I went to high school, I went to High Point with a bunch of inbred hellish gnomes running the place. I went to Boston University for my undergraduate degree, I majored in biology/pre-med, with a minor in U.S. history. Then I went to medical school at the same fine institution of Boston University and I graduated in May of 2004. I matched for my residency down here, so I had to move back down here, which I was rather pissed about. But in very early 2006 I officially started a tour in Iraq, and I just recently arrived home in late December 2006 and I officially AM going back to the sandbox on 13 November 2007 to the Red Zone.
LIKES: Okay, before I say anything regarding my likes, I must say that if I get any messages from people asking about my likes, I will refer you here. And if I did refer you here, I have lost a bit of respect for you, since it is painfully obvious you never read my profile before you hastily sent me some message. Great first impression ;-) NOW - moving on - I love music, movies, singing, dancing, driving (Very therapeutic for me), teaching, learning, swimming (Was NCAA in college), baseball, Marilyn Monroe, politics, law, medicine, surgery, anything involving the military...especially the Marine Corps for obvious reasons LOL, animals, Boston MA, Australia, Great Britain, France, Italy, John William Waterhouse, World War Two, United States history, writing, traveling, being with friends and family, a good head of dark hair (A la Colin Farrell), people with personality and a sense of humour.
DISLIKES/PET PEEVES: Probably the one thing I loathe the most are hypocrites. If you are a hypocrite, don't even think of contacting me. I don't think anything could piss me off more. I also don't like closed-minded people, those unwilling to take a chance or try anything new, and those that think they should have everything handed to them. Now onto my other dislikes - crappy & cheap cars, twangy country music, the boonies, Coke, Cingular, wireless networks, the colour orange, Tom Cruise, sterling silver, gel pens, New York Yankees, basketball, George Dubya, shelf tank tops, bills, solicitors, being stuck behind a slow car on a highway and everyone else is zipping past you (Maybe that's because I have a horrid lead foot?), Napoleon complexes, and God complexes.
RIDE(S): Okay, here is the list as of 25.07.07 - 1992 Toyota Celica, 2005 Jaguar XK8 convertible from my Uncle to replace the trashed one, and probably a brand new 2008 Lexus RX300 from the insurance payout I get from my cars.
PIERCING/TATTOO: Now I have eight piercings as of right now - navel, tragus (Look it up lazy ass), two in each earlobe, nose, and now my tongue. One tattoo of Marilyn Monroe on the small of my back. I am getting another tattoo in a few weeks. Can anyone guess as to what it might be? ;-P

I am the Siren
A man is often secretly oppressed by the role he has to play - by always having to be responsible, in control, and rational. The Siren is the ultimate male fantasy figure because she offers a total release form the limitations of his life. In her presence, which is always heightened and sexually charged, the male feels transported to a realm of pure pleasure. In a world where women are often too timid to project such an image, learn to take control of the male libido by embodying his fantasy.
Symbol: Water. The song of the Siren is liquid and enticing, and the Siren herself is fluid and ungraspable. Like the sea, the Siren lures you with the promise of infinite adventure and pleasure. Forgetting past and future, men follow her far out to sea, where they drown.
