Caine

So...here we go with a backdate...we formed at the back end of 2006..and instantly had 4 or 5 tunes...a name followed..Main Street Electric Parade...and then much rehearsal..the songs changed like the England one day cricket team..until they reached a dynamic balance of assertion, groove, subtlety and power..sounds slightly dramatic...but we are no strangers to the dramatic.................................................... .......................................... At least that's what I would have written , had I written for NME...or some such..we're a 5 piece..writing some top choons..and with an ear for melody..we're awaiting that live premiere..building up the band dynamic..our first gig is approaching..watch with baited breath and we'll let you know. We're now called CAINE...and we love it..!! Anyway...here we are in late 2007...and we've just put together our first 3 track e.p....tracks are Bruce Lee, Enemies and Monsters, and Heartland. Mixing and cover still to be done..and then we'll put it on the site..nice tunes.. currently after a small surge of writing, we've got some great songs..among them Santiago, They Buried Those Guys as Paupers, The Salty Edge Of Freedom and Buried to the Waist...if you want to hear them , come along to the gigs..they're a wall of subtle sound, have a listen.................................... ANOTHER surge of writing, and we now have Antidote..Freedom Sounds, Myschamekal, and Lucky..ACOUSTIC BASED, BUT WITH WRY LYRICAL CONTENT AND OCCASIONAL BOMBAST..ah yes..I can see it now..a long line of gigs queueing up to be plyed. Join in the CAINE experience..you won't be disappointed! new idea...not written yet..sounds poetic..in a Dylan kind of way.. travellin man..with a sometime plan raincoats torn and a sunshine hand, hole in the day and a week away.. words forlorn..decide. Travellin man..sands at sky, with broken word, to stand high, funny ways, to forge a smile.. forget the days, and miles..
