I'm an Austin-based freelance filmmaker. I frequently work in post as 2D a compositor or editor, and on set in the grip and electric departments. Please contact me if you are interested in having me assist your production!I also direct films like the ones I love--all the crazy, ultra-stylized sci-fi and horror films I grew up on, whether they're hilarious, dead serious, over the top, intriguing, melodramatic, or just plain goofy.
Some very close friends/filmmakers and I are are in production of "Avengers of the Apocalypse!" , a feature length series of short zombie comedies taking place in the same world with interlocking characters and events, a la Troma meets Sin City. It all turns into an adult-themed apocalyptic "Power Rangers"-like story meets dysfunctional family sitcom.
I have just started working freelance again, while also still working hard on Avengers of the Apocalypse.
My latest film, ZOMBABIES , a zomedy set in a baby nursery during the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse, is complete, and it is definitely my best work to date. ZOMBABIES is the first episode in the "Avengers" series. It premiered at the Alamo Drafthouse's Dismember the Alamo short zombie film competition, and proudly took home the Audience Favorite Award by a landslide vote among almost 400 viewers. It also recently received a wonderful five-star review at Dread Central , and took home the Best Narrative Award at Fearless Film Fest 2 in DFW!
The next episode is called "Hazmat J and the Birth of the Apocalypse" , which in my opinion is even better than Zombabies now. It is now finished and ready to show! Hazmat J has been the most epic journey of my entire life, I can't wait to show you guys!!
