About Me
..I am a very handsome Rat Terrier who had rough start to life, but all is good now. I'm around 7 years old now, but when I was eight months old I was found by the puppy police while I was lost wondering around the streets of Portland Oregon. My owners didn't take care of me very well, and I was really really scared. A nice older lady bailed me out of jail and adopted me, but three months later she ended-up having to go in a nursing home. I was back in puppy jail when a nice couple adopted me, but after six months they broke-up, and neither of them could keep me. It was a real nice home, and they had a cat that I liked lots, but since they both were going into apartments they couldn't keep me. This time I didn't go back to puppy jail, but I was placed in a puppy foster home. Lots of people came to see me, but none of them would take me home. After about three months my current dad drove all the way down from Seattle to see me. I thought he would leave without taking me like all the others, but he took me home with him! I wasn't around very many people, or other dogs when I was a puppy, so my dad had to take me to lots different trainers to help me understand how to play and not bite strangers. A couple years ago we moved from Seattle to Austin. I love to take naps in the sun, so moving to a place with lots of sun was a nice change. Since moving to Austin I continued my training, and even started doing agility stuff. I passed advanced agility, and most Sunday mornings my dad takes me to do jumps and stuff. I used to be real nervous around strangers and dogs, but I'm much more comfortable now. I do get real hyper when I see my friends, especially the ladies, but who can blame me...
