projectBEAM is a Sutherland Shire based charity group comprised of youth who are dedicated to contributing to the local and wider communities.

An establishment of the Sutherland Lakewood Sister Cities program, affiliates were originally returned exchange students who were determined to pay kudos to those who supported their trip, however recent years have seen the programs potential grow, so as to include ALL interested youth!
Members of the projectBEAM committee recently participated in the LATROBE city youth conference (2005) and the DEVENPORT city youth conference (2006) where the group was able to interact with similar associations from all around Australia and overseas. We returned eager to embark on this oppourtunistic journey, brimming with ideas and enthusiasm!
In its early days, this program has attracted great interest and promises to be a successful and rewarding experience for all involved. We are looking for keen and motivated shire residents to start helping out with our charity projects and join us for the ride!
