ABOUT THE SONGS ON THIS SITE:
"How" was written by me, with both Maya & Dan helping with the chord structure. This recording features our very own special guest Hube Nobis on guitar.
"Wasted Thoughts"
is another original - this is an unfinished version with Maya playing guitar, Keane beat boxing and featuring Mark Wells on lead guitar.
"So Little Time" is a side project written by the amazing Soul Lavee for a movie soundtrack. Soul created the entire track by himself, and after 2 days of putting up with me in his studio, we finally finished the vocals!
"Even When I'm Sleeping" is a cover - original by Leonardo's Bride. We did this in one take. We chose to record this song because of it's emotional bearing on both of us – we had performed it a few weeks prior at a funeral for the beautiful Whitney Welsh, and dedicate it to her and her loving family. R.I.P. Whitney.
We have been performing "Stay" for years – since I was about 15 - sometimes with Maya on guitar, sometimes Dan. Original version was by Lisa Loeb.
"Scar" is another cover (original by Missy Higgins). It was a last minute decision to add this song – we were both familiar with it and had a little extra time.
Otherwise we are gradually getting some recordings done, but won't be able to finish them till I get time to head up North again.
