Yung G was raised in southwest Georgia,( Albany, Ga.). She currently resides in Atlanta, Ga. with her mother, LaWanda Peters-Moye', and her step-father, Theodore Moye'. She is the older sister of 1 brother, Kevin (Atlanta, Ga.). Yung G is currently the Music Director at her church. She has been playing the paino, keyboard, and drums since the age of 6. She also writes her own Songs (Raps), and Produces. Yung G is currently a Junior in High School, and has been enrolled in the Gifted Program since Kindergarden. Upon graduation, she has plans to attend College studying Graphic Designs, while pursuing her Rap career.
Some of her musical influences are, Lil Wayne, Cassidy, Eve, and Fabulous.
