well first off music is my life, it is my primary function and the reason i breathe. i have been playing guitar since i was twelve, almost completely self taught. i try to sing although i dont think i was gifted with "the" voice. i can also play bass and many stringed insturments a little piano and drums barely, probably beacause i have always loved the guitar and never spent time learning other insturments. the idea for me was to try and be great at one thing rather than good at many things. which is funny because i do so many things and i am good at everything. "not bragging" i can do just about anything with my hands and mind i am extremely artistic and creative in everything i do. i am a bit of an artist too but i dont do it so much as i did when i was young becuase i made the choice for music. i have a 4 piece band called Slightly Evil we are still brand new so we are working hard to really get out there and kick some ass! we have some really good talent that I have been seeking and finding over the last year plus. we have lots of great songs (in my opinion of course) very dymanic and versatile. i think good songs is the most important thing well good songs and the right people playing them. we are primarily a heavy band but we like to mix it up we play anything from funk, blues, classical, rock ect. lots of vocal priorities from all sides and lots of feeling. we belive that music is something that evokes emotion wheather it be anger, love, hate, fear, happiness, sadness, confusion, ect. ect. we usually start with a concept and a feeling and then we just let the song become what it wants to be whatever that is we never force it. i produce a little t.v. show called Axegrinders Nightlife. please check out my website at www.axegrindersnightlife.com i am very much into photography and video as well as production editing ect. i am also going to start doing standup comedy before the year is through. as with all things i am learning all the time and i never allow myself to think i know it all because nobody does. people who think they do, dont know shit and cheat themselves out of learning something new. well that is about it for now i will deffinatly be posting some really cool shows and events in the near future so keep checking in for new shaite. i like to stay very active and i love to get outdoors whenever i can, i have a yz 250 that i dont ride nearly as much as i would like to (responsabilities and all) i like to go to the beaches, lakes, mountains and wilderness . i love to hike, mountain bike, boogie board, wakeboard, snowboard, cliff dive, crowd surf ect. i am a bit of an adrenaline junkie (fear reminds me that i am alive) i plan on jumping out of a plane someday soon. at the end of the road all you will have is memories and i want alot of really good ones. i like to restore , build, and drive vintage and classic hotrods (chevy of course). i love to try new things and traveling to new places i want to enjoy all this life has to offer. i also like to go to many shows and concerts ect. i spend a lot of time at clubs and parties so if you are from los angeles there is a really good chance you will see me out and about. i have lots of really cool friends and i know so many people it is sick. i am meeting new peeps all the time i have a firm belief that we are on this planet for one reason to meet and ineract with as many people as possible before we die. to share fellings, beliefs, ideas, and expeiences. i see my space as a great place to do this i have only been comming here for a couple of months now but i have already met some really cool people. of course the best way that i can see to make that connection with more people is through music, the simplest most universal form of comunication known to man kind.
