Stefan Roeslmairwas born in 1977 in Tuscany (It), and began playing the piano at the age of eight.
When he was 19 he began working in a recording studio as an assistant audio
technician involved in productions for EMI, Deutche Grammophon and RAI Trade.
During this period he discovered editing as a creative tool, and began cutting and
rearranging classical music recordings as part of original compositions inspired by electronic and sequenced music.
He has worked extensively as a live performance audio technician using surround tools and sound fx for concerts and art and video installations.
While studying the word of midi, synths, sequencers and synchronization, he received his Master Piano Degree from the G.B.Martini Bologna Conservatory in 2005.
In 2006 he composed a soundtrack for Buster Keaton’s movie “The navigatorâ€.
In 2007, in collaboration with Insekt Studio, he composed music for a video which was submitted to the Campari competition in Milan (video compositing and Vj).
His recent projects include "Streem" electro-acoustic song projekt : Ephemeral ep+videoclip by Fabio Bianchini, music and lyrics by Stefan R. and Michelle Bobko.
