Carl Lauderman (piano & organ)
Born in Miami, Florida; United States of Cuban and Venezuelan parents, Carl discovered his passion for music at age 11 while learning to play piano and clarinet in the school band. He later earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance degree with a minor in Music Education at Florida International University where he studied with Miguel Salvador and Jose R. Lopez. Other notable teachers included Armando Tranquilino, Kemal Gekic, Loretta Dranoff, and Gilda Gonzalez. In 2008, Carl earned his Master of Music degree in Arts Management at Florida International University and teaches piano to children, teens, and adults in Miami-Dade County and Broward County
Carl performs actively in concerts and special events in the South Florida area and specializes in the performance of several genres including classical, classical-jazz, experimental, Latin music, world music, and video game/cartoon music. He has also collaborated with several composers in the performance of new music and has performed these works regularly at several new music concerts

French-Polish pianist, Chopin dedicated his career to the piano. He had many romances, but the most famous and long-lasting was with female French writer, George Sand, who dressed as a man. He developed tuberculosis and died at age 39.
