About Me
Hello. I am Viktor Von Strange. I am a young composer/producer living on the coast of Los Angeles and currently attending Musician's Institute of Hollywood. I am nearly finished with my second degree in Audio Engineering.
I have always had an incredible fascination with the notion that a properly placed frequency in a film score can make a human cry. Sounds and notes affect a person's emotions in a way that other things cannot. They can transport you to another time and place, or make you aware of the life you are living.
These are the things that I strive for in my music.
I AM A FILM FREAK.
The things I believe in. These may seem cliche' or foolish, but they make up the fragile fibers that piece together my cruel yet beautiful world.
FREEDOM, BEAUTY, TRUTH, LOVE.
I am what one might call a musical catastrophe. I've been in more bands than I've had birthdays, but that wont stop me. I've been shut down, disgraced, and pushed back to the bottom of the barrel, but that won't stop me. I've been told "you'll never make it", "Nobody wants to hear some drag-fag's sad excuse for music". These things have proved for the better. Despite myself and the constant set-backs, band changes, moving, having thousands worth of equipment stolen, I still move forward.
I play drums, keyboard, and just about anything with strings. I have some keyboard skill, vocals, and lots of production experience. I'm currently engineering and singing for an industrial projekt called HARSH SIGNAL. Add the banner, add the songs, spread the virus.
With a renewed sense of dignity and hope, I work toward a formal education in music. I plan to survive and outlast the times that I am damned to live by. I will be an anachronism.
To this day, I push forward with what I have, knowing that one day I am destined to express myself, influenced by the world around me, in a higher form of art.
One day, people will hear what I have to say.
