Hard to believe... seems like just yesterday that our favorite local band BEATS WALKIN' was tearin' it up at our Wedding Reception! Still the best PARTY ever!

People tell me I'm very competitive, though I don't really see it. I just always give it my best at everything I do. One of my favorite lines is from an Eagles' song: "You don't care about winning but you don't wanna lose"... that's me. Well, not really - I DO wanna WIN! :)

So, I love sports and competition and I love to go watch my boyz play too. I coach their basketball teams and get completely absorbed in it. Playing, even watching, basketball is definitely a passion of mine and during practice I like to get out there and scrimmage with the kids and show them up!

Softball season is in full swing again! I play on a ladies 12" team, last season we took first place. I'm also on a 12" co-rec team now and those guys show no mercy! Gotta love it!

My house is in constant renovation as there is nothing I enjoy more than decorating/working with power tools/creating new spaces/seeing it all come to life as I envisioned it. It's so cool what creativity and imagination can do... and a lot of patience.

I'm a collector. I can't get enough of thrifting/garage saling/flea marketing. Most of my "finds" will sit until I can "fix them up" and turn them into treasures.

I'm not very good, but... I don't "totally" suck.

I got a tattoo in downtown Galena. As I was just about out the door, the hotel keeper asked me "where are you getting it?" I replied "across the street."
Sonny Landreth signed my sun tattoo and I'm never going to wash my right foot again!

Lastly, it's obvious how much I'm into music, as proved here by my "friends" list. Most of my favorites are not well-known for whatever reason (though their talent is enormous). There's nothing like seeing a concert in a small venue (often a bar) from the front row!!
