Ken Eros is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. He is a founding member of the
experimental Celtic/World/Electronica band
Green Man for whom he is one of three lead vocalists, as well as producer and engineer.
He is also a session musician, stage performer, live/studio pro audio consultant
and general troubleshooting expert. As an engineer, he contributed to the 2007 GRAMMY ®
nominated "Truth" by celebrated blues/jazz great Robben Ford
in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category. His
engineering, mixing and co-producing skills also contributed to the 2005 GRAMMY ®
nomination for "Be Bop Your Best" by recording artist Red Grammer
in the Best Musical Album For Children category.
Other projects include Bauhaus, Daniel Ash, Izzy Stradlin, Malcolm McDowell, Perla Batalla, Irene Bedard, Amanda McBroom, Ed Kowalczyk, The Electric Prunes, Sonny Landreth, Bruce Botnick, Jackie Lomax, Johnette Napolitano, Greg Penny, Peter Strauss, Fisher, Javier Colis, Mary Steenburgen and many others.
Network clients include HBO, Nickelodeon, National Lampoon, MTV Networks, USA Network, Simon & Schuster, etc.
With a powerful baritone-tenor voice crossing genres ranging from R&B, Soul,
World, Rock, and Pop, his multiple octave range landed him the lead role in an
East Coast production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar.
Ken is currently working on a solo CD, as well as a new Green Man CD slated for release in 2009.
