Born Sydney Australia, David "Krazy" Rytmeister (aka MAJOR KRAZY aka Krazy Dayv), has become well known amongst the roots/reggae/dancehall scene throughout Australia for his mixing genius behind the decks & vybe in a dance. With an uncanny ability to read a crowd and keep the energy high, Krazy has shared the bill with international artists such as Chaka Demus & Pliers, Jah Mason, Bushman, Luciano, Mikey General, Ricky Trooper, Tippa Irie & Mikey Boops and has played at festivals including Exodus Festival 06 & 07, Island Time Festival 06, 07 & 08 (Island Vibe), Roots Rap Reggae 07 & 08, Splendor In The Grass 07 and the Reggaetown Festival 07. Whether playing a reggae set or a high energy dancehall set, Krazy always engages the audience & keeps them interested.
Major Krazy is also working with Raz Bin Sam as Blaze Fire Sound. Blaze Fire Sound includes live vocal showcase sets by Bin Sam that are inspiring and all out entertaining with Krazy hosting (MCing) the set on the mic.
It is also a vehicle for forwarding the music released on the Blaze Fire Music label.
Blaze Fire's performance in Byron Bay at the "Reggae Allstars" event (before Marvalous, Jah Mason and Chaka Demus & Pliers) was extreamly well received as was their 2 hour set at Splendor in the Grass 2007.

David grew up in outer suburb of Sydney & has always held a keen interest in music & covered many genres in his listening tastes.
The first live concert David attended was RUN DMC. "Thinking back to when I was listening to Run DMC, Eric B & Rakim, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, it was always this other sound in Rap (as it was known then) that appealed to me. Later in life I found that to be a Ragga sound with Jamaican origins."
Not long after this era David turned onto hard rock, heavy metal & eventually punk & industrial aswell as everything inbetween.
This time was also when Krazy spent as much time as possible on his skateboard.
Throughout these years he played in several bands in Sydney at first as a Bass player then later a vocalist. The most notable of these bands was TubBh, a punk/metal/hiphop hybrid, who released an 8 track EP in 1998 with "Crazy Dave" on vocal duties.
Amongst the bands achievements was a largely packed Annandale Hotel (Sydney) for their CD launch & an appearance on a TV program called Ground Zero where they performed a song called "Suburban Gangsta" complete with "facial" dancing by the front man.
Along with his skateboarding antics & his both phisical & facial stage performance, this period cemented the name which he is most commonly known as these days - KRAZY
David sites Bass Guitar, Vocals, Digeridoo and Turntables (+ Effects) as the instruments he has played most throughout his life. "I have played guitar the longest of all instruments but use it mainly for song writing & would never call myself a guitarist"
Sometime in the mid 90's he came a full loop back to Hip Hop (as it became more commonly known) & rediscovered the 80's sound including Boogie Down Productions (B.D.P.) Again the Ragga sound of KRS - One & particularly MC Jamalski appealed to him.
Strangely enuff it was Handasyd Williams (a folk troubadour) that introduced Krazy to "King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown" in around 2000 which started a journey though some serious Dub which lead to exploring Reggae from the earliest thru to the modern era + old & new Dancehall; (that is from ragga thru to the up to the time singjay & dancehall styles.)
A compilation CD called Big Blunts 3 opened up Krazy to a whole lot of artists who were rapping in that "ragga" sound he had first heard in the late 80's and had a big part in this journey also.
In early Jan 2005, Krazy relocated out of Sydney to Northern NSW (near Byron Bay.) This lead to a period working with LNX Dread as part of ‘Rub-A-Dub Sound’ which held in high regard across Australia, particularly in Byron Bay & Brisbane.
The 2 performed at many dances & always got good responses from the assorted crowds they played to.
Krazy ran & promoted a small run of dances in Byron Bay called "Ina De Dance" which had varied in their success. When the numbers where there the dances had an amazing energy which stunned some who still thought reggae was "chill out" music. These dances went some way to changing a few peoples perception about this music.
In late 2008 Major Krazy again relocated, this time south to Melbourne where he is currently taking steps to step up his performance a few more steps in an inspirational & competitive environment.
As of April 2009 Major Krazy joined Jesse I & Ras Crucial as a resident at a weekly event called RING THE ALARM which runs every Thursday night at The Laundry Bar (50 Johnson St, Fitzroy)
