The guitar took a backseat for a long time when I got into the whole dance/ drum n bass scene. I still love that music but now enjoy writing my own acoustic material. One day I met Yanu Zsigo, now of Hollowbone (check out their site http://www.myspace.com/hollowbone) a brilliant blues outfit and we started to write music under the name of The Beautiful Escape in which we both wrote the songs with Yanu on vocals and guitar and myself on rhythm and lead guitar. The result of which was a recording made with Jon Gagan at his 'Electric Company' recording studio in Sante Fe, New Mexico of five tracks of which I am still very proud of. I also became friends with and stayed with William Faircloth (Sedona, AZ) of Red Temple Spirits (http://www.myspace.com/redtemplespirits) a fantastic band who still sound great today and I believe their material is going to be re-released, and Ray of Sedona an amazing spiritual reader (http://www.rayofsedona.com). Circumstance meant that The Beautiful Escape had to finish for the time being at least. I also got married to my beautiful wife and now have a gorgeous daughter all of which influence my music along with all of my lifes experiences. I have recently bought some recording gear and currently writing and recording material on my own in my spare time. No matter how talented people are I believe it's the soul essence of the music that's important in creating a feeling and that is hopefully what I achieve in my songs.
