K-VON "NO COMPETITION" FT ? COMING SOON

About Me

Kevon “K-Von” Smith grew up in a single parent home, with one little brother, by the name of Robert. K-Von was born on a cold, winter night of January 6th 1994, in his home city, which he represents to the fullest, that city being Cleveland, Ohio. K-Von started doing music at the age of four (4), with older cousin, and longtime best friend, Quentin McCall. “Quentin has helped me with everything I needed to know, in this rap game.” K-Von said. K-Von has recorded his first mix tape for a girl he use to like, when he was (9) years of age. The c.d. gained him a small amount of publicity, while he was just an elementary student. During the year of 2006, Quentin McCall was ready to take music seriously, so after leaving former college rap crew “Quasar Camp” he started his own label “Hisstory Records.” K-Von was immediately signed to Hisstory right after making three (3) songs with Quentin McCall. In the year of 2007 Kevon then started his own label, called “Killa Squad,” but due to group fallouts, he just let it go. Later on in 2007, K-Von was trying to start his own group under the label. So he did just that by starting former group called “Killa Squad,” but due to group fallouts, he just let it go. A few months later K-Von had started a new group called “Gutta Boys,” but again due to artists getting into conflicts with artists to other labels, decided to just stick with Hisstory. K-Von was then getting publicity off of a label song, put on recorded on an industry beat; the songs name was “Dey Know.” K-Von then meets up with Cleveland D.J. and legend Edward "Phatty" Banks. K-Von is currently working with a group of young adults, for a program called "Reading R.A.M.M." After getting a lot of exposure, at the age of 13 Kevon was raised to C.E.O. in Hisstory Records. Just after a few months of being C.E.O. Kevon had then signed two artists to Hisstory Records, by the name of “Kidd Tuck” and "Yung Fresh”. Since it was quite obvious K-Von was getting the most exposure, Kidd Tuck decided to leave. Recently in 2008, Quentin, had ran into some problems, so because of that K-Von had to take over Hisstory by himself. In 2009, K-Von met Cleveland artist Young Ray, and is now in strong affiliation with Legit Paper Ent. In early 2009 A.Y.A. C.E.O. Brandon Ward found Kevon. Kevon and Brandon Ward had discussed the deal, and came to the conclusion that Kevon should sign with A.Y.A. After two (2) weeks of signing with A.Y.A., he was picked up by Phresh Mob founder and General Tae Harlem. After having a disagreement with Tae, K-Von decided it was time to leave Phresh Mob so he the mob and A.Y.A. He made Hisstory Records official early 2009. He went and got everything copy written. Now K-Von is currently 15 years old. And his C.E.O. of his own label “Hisstory Records.” He currently has 5 other artist not including himself , and has two producers officially under Hisstory Rec. For collabs call 216.554.2098. Thanks, and remember Hisstory making history!
