ALEX SCHNEIDER may be a city girl, with all of the sophistication and style that urban life implies. But her voice comes straight from the Heartland. She writes and sings songs that shimmer with the glow and immediacy of classic pop, while embodying the honesty, emotional depth, boisterous energy, and boundless optimism of country music. She's a Northern California native, with twelve years of training at the San Francisco Ballet School. Yet, she discovered her true calling after she relocated to Los Angeles for her college education. Inspired by a broad spectrum of musicians, she decided to move beyond the world of dance and devote her life to creating music of her own - sounds that moved her and would also raise the spirits of those who heard her sing out. Despite her enthralling vocal skills, exotic beauty, unpretentious nature, and quick wit, her greatest asset is her passion - her love of family (including her equally talented sisters, actress Ashley and fellow singer Asia) and friends; her faith in God; and her commitment to touching the lives of others with her music. If you ask her, she'd tell you she's shy and kind of a nerd, and just trying to express the sort of feelings that we all have inside us.
