Katie Adams

Katie plays fiddle, guitar, and mandolin. She also sings lead and provides background vocals.Katie has performed with Larry Lynn & Bootlegger, Penny Mae Dixon, Country Storm, and Lost Canyon. She played Dolly Parton in " A Night at the Opry ", a Grand Old Opry tribute, and was a Nashville Star semifinalist. Katie and her sister were Regional Finalists in the 2008 Colgate Country Showdown, placing them in the top 40 out of 50,000 nationwide contestants.She has also opened for national acts such as Emerson Drive, Craig Morgan, Keith Anderson, Eric Church, and Pat Green. Katie started playing piano at age 4 and continued studying piano until age 12. In middle school she took up the viola and joined the Riverside Middle School Orchestra. She continued the viola throughout her high school years and participated in the Watertown High School Orchestra. During this time she also took up guitar and shortly after, the fiddle and mandolin.When not playing on stage, Katie enjoys riding and showing Arabian horses, working out and hanging out with friends.
