I have broad shoulders to help carry life’s load, sharp blue/gree eyes helpful in seeing the difference between right and wrong, a receding hairline from overheating my brain working hard and making life’s decisions, and a beard because I hate to drag cold sharp steel across my tender face. I don NOT believe that “he who has to most toys wins”, rather I believe that “he who has the fullest life wins”. And the prize is a happiness that reaches to the very roots of your soul and the souls of others. Independent enough to be self employed and the co-owner of several businesses -- dependant enough to appreciate my family, good friends, and to know that my life would be better with someone by my side. I have traveled the world for extended periods, lived in many other cities, states, and even countries, and I now live in Houston because it has the one thing I could never find abroad, and that’s family. Though I never completed college, I was a Research Fellow for a Fortune 100 company for 14 years and am considered smart and very well educated.Passions include listening to music, travel, horseback riding, and camping/hiking. I like my music live, but even recorded I like almost any style with a focus on traditional country, country, folk, acoustic, blues, rock-n-roll. I even like classical and opera, but NEVER heavy metal or rap. Travel can be anything between an overnight road trip to going walk-about (adventure travel in exotic location for extended periods of time.) Horseback riding, western only – I like trail and have been learning cutting – next year I would like to join a trail ride and get involved in the rodeo in some way.
