About Me


Formed in early 2005 © Alive and Kickin is comprised of members from such memorable bands as "M-80", "Jenny's Tribe", "Assault", "Black Out" and "Stranger-X" from the Lowell, Tewksbury and Hudson area. The musicians bring together a rare talent of playing styles ranging from classic to modern rock along with alternative and dance styles. Their choices of musical styles along with melodic vocal harmonies, searing guitar riffs, and a driving beat are sure to please all audiences around.

Got to open up for Farrenheit and The Fools. Now, it's time for a new adventure.

Previous bands played in are: Assault, Twisted, and a brief stint with Black Out;
Been playing for 30 years.
~ Jamie Lonto ~ Bass
Previous bands played in are: Jenny's Tribe, Bill Christie, Hotwired, Rusty Tools, and Bees Del Medicine Man.;
Grew up classicly trained playing the piano from the age of 7, picked up the bass and eventually found the dark side of the stage.

~ Bob Rocheleau ~ Guitar
Previous bands played in are: Blackout (original), Mr. Fyde (original), M-80 ( an 80's cover band), and did a stint with Over 6.
Been playing for over 30 years now; Had the opportunity to open up for great bands as Skid Row and Lynch Mob.
Influences: ~ Scott Wagner's:

David Lee Roth, Steven Tyler, and any other band that I've listened to. Other influnces would be Sesame Street, The Three Stooges, and Bugs Bunny.
~ Eric Percival's:

Led Zeppelin, The Who, Aerosmith, Sabbath, Yes, Rush, Deep Purple, Cream, and etc. My biggest influences are Bonham, Pace and Baker. From today's drumming style would be from TOOL.
~ Jamie Lonto's:

Jaco Pastorius, Kai Eckhardt, Gary Willis, Berlin, and John Paul Jones.
~ Bob Rocheleau's:

Eddie Van Halen, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, and Great bands from the 70's and 80's.
