Darryl is a well known and respected local bassist, composer, and producer. At the age of 5 it was evident that Darryl was anointed and his love for music was undeniable. As he grew, church became a way of life. It wasn't a surprise to see him catching the bus from the westside of Chicago to the southside attending Sunday services or choir rehearsals, bass guitar in a garbage bag. It was here that the journey began as he honed his musical gifts, talents and perfected his raw leadership skills.
Without hesitation Darryl with boldness will tell you how he has gotten where he is today " not to sound religious, even though doors were closed and things didn't go as planned God was setting me up so that everything I've been taught, the theory, the art of recording and mixing, compositional skills, wisdom everything! God has literally revealed to me. No man get the credit, not even me". This experience, daily walk, and trust in Him also allowed Darryl to build an impressive musical resume' working with a host of local choirs, participation in the NAACP convention along with Lonnie Hunter, play that included Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Karen Clark Sheard, music director for Marvin Sapp in concert, one of the bass players for "tell hell I ain't comin" at the Chicago Theatre, music director/bassist for select concerts/musicals at Waubansie High of Aurora, Il, recordings with The Southern Faith singers, Video and Cd with The Voices of Joy, part of the house band in a week long evangelistic endeavor that included Dr. Iona Locke and Dr. Jackie McCullum at the AFC, demo with Darius Brooks, participation in the NAACP convention in Washington 2006, and most recent the bassist for "High School Musical" a 2007 stage musical production at Schaumburg High just to name a few.
TymeZnow is a mirror of the power of God and reflect all His attributes and the spirit of excellence of Darryl, His vessel chosen to oversee this move. The company's goal is to reach the world primarily through music and other ventures by creating various styles of music designed to heal and change the lives of all people without limits.
