About Me

wow! pigeon eyes was first used as the name for toby jackson's various weird and wonderful projects, but later went on to become the name of the rock band which played its first gig on the 12th july 2007, with an ipod instead of a drummer, and its last gig on the 12th july 2008, having played 18 shows with three different drummers (will may-millers cover set in woking probably doesn't count). toby jackson has a new project by the name of 'space is big', james penny has a new project by the name of 'hold your horse is' and oshea plays in a band called 'jealous again' but is moving to australia in september. thanks to everyone who put us on this last year, its been pretty shradical. x

Pigeon Eyes ruffle feathers first. And despite their more angular attacks the band make good on promises of pop music, combining their punk spit with some shining off-kilter melodies. Sure theyâ€™re sloppy and fuzzy and gloriously out-of-tune in places but they arenâ€™t half satisfyingly loud and direct. And at least they ply their trade from an actual stage.'

hooks hooks (spooky punch remix) this was the first song; a carnation of wow! pigeon eyes recorded, toby remixed it afterwards. before this their live set was improvised and endless....
