HörprobenBella Donna "II" (Etage Music)Jochen Schoberth is a composer, guitarist, keeper and manager of the Etage Studio Label at Bayreuth and he has launched a truly unique musical project 10 years ago called ARTWORK.Now the bands name changed to BELLA DONNA to show the difference between the classical part and the work with Oswald Henke.Bella Donnas new album is called II (2) covering a spectrum from classical, medieval ambitions to guitar-dominated poems. II is the name ,because the abum Bella Donna from Artwork gave the band the name and it musst be seen as the 1st Bella Donna Album. So it leads directly from Artwork to Bella Donna.There is a small group of more or less "regular"members around J.Schoberth, but mainly BELLA DONNA is still taking advantage of the coming and going of different artists.Important regular members are two quite contrary vocalists.Whereas Jan Kunold as a classical tenor is reciting mostly lines taken from Greek and Latin language, Chriss Goelnitz "beutifull desease" indulges in avantgarde- poetry. His "starlight garden" strikes some new notes both for the listener andOn "II" you can experience the combination of these two great voices, "II" brings together all the different facets of BELLA DONNA. These crazy combinations are significant for the concept of this new record: BELLA DONNA has developed its own style without narrowing the musical horizon. The music emerges out of different emotions and characters, spacey, groovy and always with a fancy to details.Managing his courage to overload songs, Jochen Schoberth produced a lot of fresh material on "II", still being miles apart from fixed categories and musical drawers.
