Hey, my name is mick..or michael..or mikey..depends on who you are I suppose. Welcome to my very own myspace, thanks for checking it out, and I hope theres something you find interesting!. Umm, ok..Im a huge music fan, play bass in a great new rock/grunge band, but love a variety of different styles of music as well. Im single as you may have read(and will probably stay that way by the looks of things)..I love my family and my REAL friends a great deal. I say REAL friends becausenot many people will stick by you when the chips are down. Loyalty is big in my book!. Became a believer in Christ several years ago..Im very flawed, but its cool to know that God actually likes me (still in shock)!! I have a dream of owning my own business

and being able to help my family out when they need it...and am going to start teaching bass lessons pretty soon. Ive lived in newy for several years..it was cool, but enjoying the bush again! Been around and seen a lot of things, some good..some bad, but thats life I guess. Would love to be a pro muso (if I was good enough)..you just never know, anythings possible while youre still breathing!!

My Interests

Music..love it to bits. I play bass and sing..either lead vox or backing, both are great. What else..umm..keeping fit, footy(go the eels), sport, and whatever else takes my fancy at the time I guess!

I'd like to meet:

The Rolling Stones,all the great grunge bands of the 90s, heaps of musos from the 60s and 70s, the surviving members of the greatest band ever...Led Zeppelin! umm, theres lots more but thats all I can think of for now Alice In Chains "Would"

Music:

Ive grown up listening to and liking all of these..blues, rock, jazz, country, soul, funk, grunge, some metal, heaps of stuff from the 60s and 70s, pop etc. Not too fussed on techno and dance ..some rap is ok, depending on who it is. Dont have the space to go into who my fav artists and bands are..way too many to list here!

Movies:

Any good action movies..and I love comedy too! Braveheart, gladiator, anything with clint eastwood in it..old westerns rock! yeah..stuff like that. Dumb and dumber is one of the funniest movies Ive ever seen..

Television:

Its pretty sad whats on the box, but here are my favs, in no particular order. Scrubs, re-runs of MASH, Spicks and Specks, Rockwiz, some sporting events, VIP Pass, some docos are way cool(when a decent one comes on), and Rage..do we really need any more cop shows?..oh and by the way, quizmania SUCKS!!

Books:

I like music bios..on bands, musos, and their careers. Any good books on historical subjects are great...everything from ancient to modern times. The Bible, some mags are cool..bassplayer etc. I generally pick up and read whatevers available..always been a bit of a reader.

Heroes:

Jesus ..I personally dont know anyone whos done what He has..absolute legend! some of my family who've gone through tough times and survived..anyone whos been kicked in the guts by life, but got up again and kept going! The diggers, people who look after their families and friends etc..
