HISTORY
THE SHOP CRE8IVE SK8 opened in Townsville in September 1999 by skaters for skaters. The shop is designed as a place skaters can hang out when not skating, watch a vid, grab a drink and meet other skaters.
We pride ourselves on our service and our motto; "We don't just sell, we service as well!"
We have the largest range of brands and components in North Queensland, and if we don’t have what you are looking for, we will do whatever we can to get it for you.
We will always match competitor’s prices and sell by mail order, not only that, we also pay the freight!
SKATE
Skateboarding is our key business and we believe that through honest and correct advice we can introduce new skaters to the sport and keep existing skaters skating. We will help skaters to keep rolling any way we can.

Cre8ive Sk8 sponsors a number of skateboarders and a couple of skaters we have sponsored in the past have gone on to bigger and better things “down southâ€.

INLINE
Cre8ive Sk8 specialises in Roces Inline Skates as it is our opinion that Roces is the only brand in Australia that is properly supported, spare parts are readily available (and we stock nearly all of them) and the skates have a 12 month warranty that actually means something and is honoured.
Other brands of skates can be ordered, but we can’t guarantee that parts and service will be available for them if something goes wrong.
Due to the recent increase in the popularity of Inline Hockey we are stocking a range of hockey skates, wheels, helmets, pads and sticks. Contact us for more details.
ROLLER SKATES (quads)
We stock a small range of new Roller Skates and most spares to restore or repair existing skates. A large range of wheels are available.
GRAFF
Cre8ive Sk8 has the largest range of Graff supplies north of Brisbane including an extensive range of Belton RAL, Molotow and Ironlak paints, nozzles and markers. We have also turned the area around the shop into a local Hall of Fame and it is worth visiting the shop to see the current graff.
LONGBOARDING
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SKATE
Join us at the shop at 7pm on Wednesday nights as we head out for a session – maybe a gentle push along The Strand followed by slalom or bombing a few local hills or we might decide to head out to our training hill at Bushland Beach. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own board we have plenty of loaners and if you are interested in a particular board combination, ask and we might just be able to patch one together so you can try before you buy. All in all Wednesday Night Skates are a heap of fun, meet new people and experience the Longboarding Fraternity stoke first hand.
PRODUCTS
Cre8ive Sk8 is Australia’s premier Longboard and Slalom outlet, we are passionate disciples of these sports and are always willing to give advice and discuss skaters needs. We are importing specialist equipment from Canada, U.S.A., Germany, Switzerland and England as well as stocking brands that are distributed here in Australia.
As we are keen longboarders and slalom riders and have a considerable quiver of boards at our disposal, we are willing to put together combinations of parts for customers to try before they buy (if local) or we can try it and give feedback to the customer (if purchasing by Mail Order). Obviously from this, we MAIL ORDER to all over Australia and have even sent equipment available here in Oz to customers in Canada and the USA.
