Nothing is for everyone except air, water, & dirt.

About Me

I was a broadcast major in college, focusing on radio. I set it aside when I met my future-ex-husband and had a son, promising myself that once the child was less of one I would get back into it. I've done VO for 25 years. I love this line of work!I've remarried (more successfully, thanks!) and we chose Fremont for the schools and housing prices back in 1997. I've lived in the Bay Area for almost 30 years, with the exception of a several-year stint in upstate Illinois.I'm personally looking to connect with a few choice new people who: -are intelligent, funny and possibly clever; -wouldn't randomly send me a XXX-rated email or be otherwise crass; -might lead me into new ways of thinking or being.Professionally, I'm all about the referrals- my intuition seems to be leading me along reasonably well, albeitly s-l-o-w-l-y. In the long term, I'll cheerfully enjoy what life is handing me and eagerly await what happens next!I know a fellow in Sacramento who writes what I think is some of the funniest stuff on Earth. Check Rob out at www.cockeyed.com. He's a total prankster leading a truly authentic life.I don't think I've rambled too much, but I'd like to be clear about who I am in case that's a highly positive or negative thing from your perspective. No one needs to waste time with stuff in which they're not interested, right?!

My Interests

radio.... entertainment.... voiceover.... acting.... networking with other VO people.... theatre!

I'd like to meet:

... some choice people who are intelligent, funny and clever...people who won't randomly send me a XXX-rated email or be ridiculously crass - you should know me BEFORE talking to me THAT way!... people who lead me into new ways of thinking or being.John Cusack Barack Obama Kevin Spacey.

Music:

yes. I *would* say most anything but C&W, but Patsy Cline never ceases to amaze me, no I'll stick with the never-say-never plan (thank you, Deborah Iyall).

Movies:

always YES. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, The Usual Suspects, All Bourne all the time, All About Eve... why name more? Pretty much any movie is worth viewing once - it's just a matter of circumstance.

Television:

What television we CAN have is mostly crap right about now. I enjoy: Simpsons, Top Chef & Runway, EnTOURage, Gilmore gIrls (thx Liz).

Books:

Two words: Roald Dahl. Any questions?

Heroes:

My father.
