This blog is about naturalismo and the myriad of muscians who helped shape the current movement. I absolutely abhor writing about music, it’s nearly as bad as reading about it-almost. The entire concept is pretty absurd if you ask me, there’s something to be said about listening to a painting or watching a song that puts things into context. Enjoy it within its means of medium I say. If it wasn’t for those songs that send a spark through my hair and down my spine, I’d never set a pen to paper or finger to key. I find that there’s not a blog I can go to that supports my notion that the times we’re living draw several parallels with my nostalgic inclinations of the 60’s. I firmly believe that a lot of contemporary folk and psych artists have awakened some of the dormant musical roots of the 60’s and timeless music is being written again for the first time since decades ago. If you can’t hear the difference between 1967 and 1977, then this blog might not be for you. But if you stick around I am pretty sure I could convince anyone that some of the music being made now has tapped into something that was long ago forgotten. Thanks,Devin E. Woolf
