Emanuel Sampaio e Melo was born in 1980 in the city of Oporto (Portugal), and had his first experiences with Electronic Music in 1999 and since that time always felt a special connection with the Psy trance scene, having initiated his career as a Dj, under the name Askari, in the year of 2001, playing since then lots of performances all around the country and organizing events while member of the Alienbusters team .
Over the last years had the chance to play with some of the top artists in the scene , has Altom , Mr Peculiar , Rastaliens , Menog , just to mention a few...In 2002 started to take his first steps into the world of music production with Fruity loops software , and later changing to Steinberg's Cubase Sx for its current work while Solis.Solis music is based on intense technological and futuristic sonic images. Using a somewhat possible future of mankind... where man and machine have bounderies difficult to define as the imagery. Just go inside and catch a glimpse of what lies ahead...
